Hannah’s return to work after maternity gave her the motivation to be her own boss doing something she loves in Norwich.
Hannah Goodrum studied Graphic Design at Uni and went on to enjoy a very successful career in publishing. Returning to work after maternity leave, Hannah decided she wanted more flexible working so she could enjoy time with her son George. Hannah launched her Creation Station franchise in early 2020 and has brought her wonderful passion, personality, flair and care to children and adults.
Hannah said
“I’ve always been an ambitious, determined and driven individual but after having my little boy I felt like I’d lost some of my confidence and identity.
I’d enjoyed my role in publishing, however after returning from maternity leave it doesn’t seem to quite fit anymore.
The Creation Station ticks all the right boxes for me. I wanted to be part of this award-winning franchise because I really believe in their core values. Nurturing creativity and inspiring everyone - from babies to 99-year-olds- what a fun and fulfilling business to be in.
I attended a Discovery Event to learn more about the franchise. Although I’m very creative I knew I didn’t want to start from scratch on my own. I know that investing in a franchise has meant that I have the resources I need. The team have been fantastic at supporting me throughout the process of starting up and continuing to grow. I also have the flexibility to make it personal to me. I feel so passionate about my business, bringing people together both young and knowing that each day I’ve achieved something special."
“I hit all my goals for the year with eight months! I have employed someone to help me reach even more families with Baby Discover and Little Explorers. My classes have been full and the events I held over the summer were loved by everyone who attended. I get enquiries for whast going on in the next three to soz months so people can plan in advance! That’s a wonderful feeling.
I’ve provided a mix of face to face and online sessions over the past two years. I love getting to know my customers. It’s been such a joy to see children graduate from Baby Discover into Little Explorers. I love to see these little ones thrive and watch their creativity coming out as they grow in confidence each week. I believe I have built a solid foundation and am excited about expanding my business in the future. "
