Hello, my name is Laura and I run Hartbeeps in East Surrey and West Sussex. I also own a partnership Hartbeeps franchise in South London.
My Hartbeeps journey first started after attending a class with my youngest back in 2015. I instantly fell in love with Hartbeeps and by coincidence I receive an email from my local franchisee the following week to say she was looking for a teacher to help run classes. I jumped at the chance and was thrilled to be offered the position and started training.
Having taught drama and musical theatre I loved how storytelling, song, movement and a brilliant soundtrack enabled grown-ups and their little ones to enter a magical wonderland full of adventures and surprises while supporting and aiding little ones development.
Not long after starting teaching I bought into Hartbeeps running and managing a partnership in South London and soon after bought my own franchise in East Surrey and West Sussex.
Alongside running my Hartbeeps franchise I have trained as a Doula, breast feeding peer supporter and Baby Massage/Baby Yoga instructor. Having the knowledge and an understanding in these areas has supported me in running Hartbeeps classes and my franchise.
As a business owner, I think its important to continue training and refreshing in your knowledge as much as possible.
I am constantly looking at ways to improve as a teacher as well as growing the business.
I now have four wonderful Imaginators and a second Hartbeeps Franchise with my business partner and between the team we deliver 77 classes per week across East Surrey, West Sussex and South London.
It’s the best job in the world!
